Remedial and Myotherapy Massage
Massage is the manipulation of soft tissues in the body, including muscles, tendons, ligaments, and connective tissue, to improve health and wellbeing. Our trained professionals provide excellent soft tissue treatments, for either relaxation or remedial purposes. Our massage therapists utilise a range of techniques, which varies depending on the individual’s needs and preferences.
Whilst most people may think of massage as primarily a means of relaxation, it has a large range of beneficial therapeutic effects:
· Reduce muscle tension and pain
· Improve circulation
· Increase joint mobility and flexibility
· Stress relief
· Boost immune function
· Stimulation of the lymphatic system
· Enhance overall physical and emotional wellbeing
Studies have shown that massage may also be beneficial in the treatment of many health concerns including:
• Anxiety
• Arthritis
• Back or neck pain
• Soft tissue injuries
• Chronic pain
• Constipation
• Depression
• Headache
• High blood pressure
• Insomnia.
The skin is the largest organ of the human body and is packed with nerve endings, why not look after this vital organ like we do the rest of our body?
